Ukrainian officials for Euro 2012 has admitted that they are corrupted

The National Agency of Ukraine's preparations for Euro 2012 officials scandalize at the Polish Embassy. On March 22 during the presentation of preparation programs for Ukrainian cities for the championship of Euro 2012 by the representatives of National Agency of Ukraine's preparations for Euro 2012 admitted to reporters that they were corrupt. The conflict occurred because of the desire of journalists to better understand the problem of preparation of Ukrainian cities for the championship. During the presentation of some figures on the program attracted interest from journalists, in particular, it was stated that the shortage of rooms at three-, four-, five-star hotels in Kyiv the city management has found able to accommodate about 83 thousand fans of Euro 2012 at boarding houses, dormitories, hostels, etc. This figure has sparked interest among many journalists, and they appealed to the organizers to provide the presentation materials of Ukrainian cities, but representatives of the Polish Embassy cited the ban from the Ukrainian side to provide any tangible evidence of his words to journalists.
"Following this response, we asked for comments on the Ukrainian side, but the Department Head on the preparation of stadiums, training centers and accommodation facilities of the Office of the National Agency for Euro 2012 Nazariy Yunyk and Deputy Chief of the preparations for Euro 2012 of Kyiv City Hall Arsene Popel categorically refused to provide presentation materials. An official, who represented the training of Donetsk for Euro 2012, said the following: "Consider me a corrupt, but I will not give this information!" - said the EURO-Patrol expert Viacheslav Konovalov (also he is an executive director of the anti-corruption Centre of Criminological Research and the first vice-president of Ukrainian Youth Tourist Association). It should be noted that all this happened in the presence of dumbfounded representatives of the Polish Embassy in Ukraine who could not understand what is so secret is contained in the presentation materials.
UYTA notes that this is not the first fact of hiding the information by members of National Agency for Euro 2012. Officials simply do not respond to the many requests, and in some cases, the answers are formal letters (f.e., to the question about funding levels thay correspond to that filled so many cubic meters of concrete, etc.). UYTA refers to the leadership of the state be brought into line with current legislation activities of the National Agency for Euro 2012 officials and the "open" its work to the public.
