About

Auberge de Jeunesse HI Paris Yves Robert is a proud member of Hostelling International worldwide network.

Fully ecologic, the hostel is located in a green district just a few minutes away from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, offering an easy access to major Parisian monuments as Montmartre, le Sac Cur, le Canal Saint-Martin and many more !

Welcoming the biggest photovoltaic power station of the city, the hostel relies mainly on renewable energies (solar pannels, double glazing, earth-to-air heat exchange...).

Its modern architecture offers dorms, family rooms and very spacious common areas, a nice outdoor access thanks to 2 terraces, one overlooking a luxuriant garden.
For a snack or a drink, our friendly and affordable bar offers some local products that can be combined to an exotic meal from our social restaurant.

The staff were so lovely and helpful, the place felt really clean, the other people staying there were so kind and fun, it was really close to bus stops and the metro, the area was a bit rough but during the day it was fine! It was filled with African and carribean influence and the town felt very alive. Just be careful about pick pocketting and avoid talking to some people on the streets especially in big groups because there were some drugs and scamming going on but it was all part of the fun!

Property was nice and clean, and the rooms were mostly pretty good (although the bunk beds didn’t have individual curtains, they did have power points and an individual light, as well as lockers). The room had an automated/timed shower which whilst good for conserving water was pretty frustrating to wash your hair under, and had to go wandering in the corridor to find a toilet. Honestly the main downside unfortunately was the area, felt a bit sketchy at night and so didn’t go out much when here.

Lovely hostel, lovely staff very welcoming and smiley. We are a group of 3 travelling with different booking but they very kindly put us in the same room. Only down side to this hostel is the cooker hob didn’t work so they only had a microwave or oven but apart from that would 100% recommend
