Great hostel, a little on the expensive side, but staff were super friendly, rooms have what you need with lockers (bring own lock) and outlets and a sink, there were enough bathrooms and showers and the showers were some of the most convenient/ spacious i've seen at hostels, felt secure and was in a good area near a busy shopping street and public transport not far at all, good spot to explore london from for a few days

Well-located hostel in the heart of Soho, with friendly staff, but quite expensive and noisy, and bed not very comfortable.

Overall a great experience. The stuff was very kind and helpful, especially the girl that worked the night shifts. The only thing that bothered me was that the sinks were very small and you couldn't even wash your hands without spilling water everywhere. Perfect location, in a walking distance of monuments and almost next to a metro station from where tou can go anywhere.

Hostelworld says

Astor Oxford Street is all about location. As the name suggests, this hostel is just off Oxford Street in central Soho, a lively area of cafes, bars and shopping. This colourful hostel is frequently praised by Hostelworld guests for their clean and spacious rooms which include an individual light and power-point at each bunk. We like that this hostel is centred between three of London's most popular tube stations - Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Piccadilly Circus.
