Great for exploring London. YHA London Thameside is a busy 24-hour hostel with easy access to Heathrow and Gatwick. It has convenient underground links to the Excel Centre, Canary Wharf and Greenwich as well as Central London with Westminster only 20 minutes away.

If the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the London Dungeon are on your list of must-see attractions, this is a perfect location. Situated over the Thames from the Docklands, this modern YHA offers en-suite rooms and excellent bus and tube links.

Only stayed for 1 night with a friend. Not too central, but in a very cute location (if you love animals like me, there's a farm that's free to visit by the river about a 10min bus ride or 20min walk away). We stayed in a double private ensuite, it was cozy, had everything we needed - I loved the window, great place to sit at and relax for a bit. The beds were kinda small lengthwise though, I'm quite small (158cm) and it was tight, so if you're taller, beware.
