Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is your best starting point! This modern Hostelling International hostel is centrally located right in the middle of the famous Vondelpark, within walking distance of the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. We’re at crawling distance from the Leidseplein, with its famous nightlife and clubs like Paradiso, Melkweg and Jimmy Woo!

The hostel is partly located in a monumental chalet building from which you’ll have a stunning view over the Vondelpark! We have 574 beds divided over two-, four-, six- and eight-bedded rooms and some large dormitories. One room with facilities for wheelchair users (please inquire before booking). All rooms have a shower, toilet and washbasin and free individual lockers (bring your own padlock or buy one at reception). Other facilities include a lobby area, free Wi-Fi, a laundrette, bike shelter, tourist info and discount tickets, electronic door locks, lockers and safes. Our reception is open 24/7 and there’s no curfew.

Our lively bar has sports on TV and good music. Here you'll meet lots of people. We serve hearty and healthy food at great prices and we have the cheapest beer in town.

At the reception you can buy tickets for several things to do in Amsterdam (Museums, Canal tour, Heineken Experience, Madame Tussauds) with big discounts.

Good to know!
- Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please read our Things to Note below before booking.
- Breakfast is not included, but you can book it separately or buy it at the hostel. Breakfast is against payment of € 9.95.
- You will be given bed linen upon arrival to make your own bed. Towels are not included. These can be rented at the hostel for € 3.50per towel (or you can bring your own, of course).
- Padlocks for the luggage lockers can be bought at the desk (or you can bring your own, of course).
- Standard rooms have bunk beds.
-Tourist tax of 12,5% per night of the cost of the room, is not included. Please pay upon arrival.
- Stayokay and Hostelling International members do not receive member discount on this booking.

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is a cashless hostel. You can pay contactless and with all major bank and credit cards. It is not possible to pay with cash in our accommodation.

This hostel was awesome!! Such a cool vibe. We booked the private 6 person room with an attached bathroom. We had everything we needed. There are free lockers downstairs! You can use before, during, and after you check out.

Good place would stay there again - it was new, very clean, and larger than expected. Staff was very friendly. Would suggest some more couches in common area to chill. Some random adds: A load of laundry costs €9. Continental breakfast costs €10. If travelling from the airport, look into taking a bus directly to the hostel - it can be much quicker and easier than taking the train downtown.

I was quite skeptical about the whole hostel experience in Amsterdam, but Stayokay was the best thing I booked during my time here in this vibrant city. Amazing staff, dorm mates it was 10/10 experience overall and added an icing on the cake for my time here in Amsterdam. Will be staying here for sure in my future visits to this city. They deserve all the appreciation.

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is near the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the nightlife of Leidseplein, with a view overlooking Vondelpark. There are several buses and trams nearby which go across the city. Hostelworld guests tell us this hostel offers great value for money, "a nice mix for international visitors" and that they'd recommend it "if you want a quiet night in Amsterdam". We particularly like their highly-praised, typically Dutch breakfast of cheese, meats, eggs and more.
