Welcome to ClinkMama, formerly known as ‘Ecomama’, one of Amsterdam’s most beloved and unique hostels. With a character all its own, ClinkMama promises an experience unlike any other.

For the past decade, travellers from all walks of life have been enchanted by our bespoke design and tranquil atmosphere. We’re excited for the next generation of globetrotters to discover and fall in love with everything Mama has to offer!

Very happy with our stay at ClinkMama! When I first booked, I had a 3 night booking with a friend and a separate 1 night booking by myself. The staff were very helpful over the phone in combining my booking so I could stay in the same bed during my entire stay. Additionally, the hostel was located in a safe and convenient area, a 15 minutes walk from Centraal Station and within walking distance to nearby canals, flower market and centre. The hostel was quiet and clean, everyone was respectful.

Good location. Not a bad walk to the train station or to any of the neighborhoods/canals. I was in an all women’s room but our beds are all separate beds on floor level. 8 of them in one room, it kind of looked like a hospital setting and they were creaky. Not a lot of space to move. The showers don’t stay on you have to push a button and it shuts off after a few seconds. Rather annoying. The kitchen is great, easy checkin/out. Shared spaces are good. Overall still a fine, but prices were high.

Prices were inflated due to ADE but it wasn't terrible for the price! 15min walk to most things in the city including Amsterdam Centraal station. No en suite showers/bathrooms & no outlets by the beds. Staff is pleasant & laundry was affordable!
