Location and staff = excellent. My compliments to the tall woman from The Netherlands for her customer service. However, hostel was very disappointing and over-priced. The charging station at my bed did not work. I had to get the maintenance man to fix it, and it didn't work again the next day. Lost time. So they moved me to another bed, where the light did not work. Beds were also uncomfortable and there was a millipede in my locker. Wish the lockers had a bottom. But your stuff is secure.

I think you can never be disappointed by Ostello Bello! Ostello Bello Rome is a very good hostel, comfy bedrooms, very clean, and good commun areas. I was expecting just a bit more of a social vibes (but I was there in November and maybe the timing was also not the best). They have free food in the kitchen and for the aperitivo! And the breakfast is honestly very good :) Thanks again.

The stay didn’t start out well to find a roach in the bed. I was prepared for a miserable 3 nights. I didn’t find another critter after that and the stay ended up being a good experience. assortment of free food around the property; fruit, all the ingredients to make your own pasta dish. The best feature is the location. It’s walking distance or a short train ride to all the major attractions. 1st time I experienced a female in our mixed room speaks well to the level of security.
