Welcome to Adventure Queenstown Hostel, part of the Adventure Hostels family.

❓ Adventure Queenstown is a vibrant, social hostel with a focus on guest interaction, functional, useful facilities and a team that pay attention to the details. We offer cosy, relaxed Ski-chalet vibes, where it's easy to meet fellow travellers without an emphasis on partying or trying too hard. We are a smaller hostel with a maximum capacity of about 60 people. The perfect number for keeping a family atmosphere which is still fun and vibrant.

📍 AQ is the most centrally located accommodation in town, you are just a few minutes' walk to everything and at night we guarantee you'll sleep soundly as there are no bars directly by us.

🤟 Our friendly team run activities and events 7-nights a week to make it easy to meet fellow explorers from across the world.

😴 Our spacious and well-designed rooms feature custom made hand-built timber bunks with ultra-comfortable innerspring mattresses,
⭐ Two pillows, freshly laundered linen and ready to hop straight into.
⭐ Each bunk also includes USB charging ports & electrical outlets, a reading light, a secure under-bed storage locker and privacy curtains.
⭐ Our rooms also include A/C, heat pump, free high-speed wifi and towels are included as standard!

🌞 AQ's Outdoor balcony spaces are the best in town, and a great place to enjoy a drink in the sun and soak up the views.

🥘 You'll be cooking up a feast in one of the country's best hostel kitchens, that features everything from crockpot's to food processors.

⁉️ Our friendly staff can help you plan your activities, offer tips and tricks, as well as Winter kit hire in Ski-season.

🔒 Storage/locker room with secure bicycle parking and ski & snowboard storage for your own gear.

⭐ We even provide a simple laundry service, where our team will wash, dry and return your clothes when ready!

🚗 Due to our super central location, Adventure Queenstown Hostel does not have parking for guests (or our staff!)
🚌 We are located less than 50 metres from the Intercity bus stop, which is handy for Intercity travellers. If you do require parking, please reach out to our team and we can offer you a handy guide with nearby locations, free and paid.

⚠️ Our Standard Policies

🔹We are a small hostel, our reception is open from 8.30am to 7.30pm.

🔹Late check-ins are not possible without prior notice. So, if you will arrive after 7.30pm, please email or call us 2-3 days before you arrive, and we will provide instructions on how to self-check-in.

🔹We operate with a maximum 10-day stay policy in any 30 day period. Any bookings made to accumulate more than 10 days will be cancelled.

🔹Cancellations must be made more than 48 hours prior to the day of arrival. Cancellations made within 48 hours from the date of arrival will incur additional charges equivalent to the first night's accommodation. No Shows will be charged the first nights accommodation.

🔹Check-in is available after 8.30am, however please note that beds/rooms will not be ready until after 2pm. We have storage facilities for the interim and common areas are free for use.

🔹We do not allow minors under the age of 17 in shared rooms, with or without guardians. Families are welcome, but would be required to book an entire room.

🔹Please note that we cannot always guarantee that guests from a group booking will be in the same room or any booking will be in the same room for the duration of the stay, though we will always try our best!
