New, but Strong! UK is proud to present a not-for-profit trade association that promotes and seeks to improve education and educational travel facilities. The British Educational Travel Association (BETA) aims to represent producers and suppliers of youth, student and educational travel related products and even more. It also gives the rewards to UK achievers that gain recognition, and raise the profile of the work and individual successes of youth organizations all around the country.
Prestigious BYTA awards event was held on the 3rd of December 2009 at at the Courthouse Hotel, London. The nominees were competing in the categories of "Best Product", "Most Innovative Marketing", "Green Tourism Award", "Best Website", "Most Promising Young Marketer" and "Best UK Youth Destination". The judges of the contest had a tough work to decide upon the final nominees of the awards. By the public voting system, the best ones were chosen!
Alison Armitage, Sales & Marketing director at Generator Hostels, now is known as a Most Promising Young Marketer of the Year. Congratulations! Hopefully, this price is just a first step to evaluate her input in Generator's development.
